Office Styling

For me, the key to a great office space is simplicity – a clear space that allows creative thinking and inspiration while being practical too.

Add interest with a well designed desk lamp, character with motivational or artistic prints, your favourite mug for that morning coffee and a comfy cushion.

Here are a few beautifully styled office spaces that I just adore…

I am currently trying to carve out an office space in our spare room, but this needs to be a functional space to be shared with my husband.

The tussle for space and therefore the layout of the space is real in this house! As a musician, he has plenty of instruments and amps to fit into the space, whilst my aim is to made a space that looks good (priority one!) and is a space I can also work in. Not an easy feat!!

For me, unique prints are fantastic for personalising a space. Calligraphy is obviously my jam!

My vision is a monochrome scheme with pops of subtle accent colours. I’m keen to get my hands on a pink chair as my first purchase!

I will be posting my office before and afters soon, so watch this space!

As I research, pipe dream and plan, I will also be collating my wishlist of office items too!

If you’ve recently re-worked your office space, I would love to see! Share your spaces on Instagram with me @thedesignolive.
